Warehouse

Joe arrives at the warehouse for his rendezvous with The Weasel

The Rail Yard is located just south of Central Ave. (old Rt.66) in downtown Albuquerque on 27 acres to the west of the railroad tracks now owned by the State of NM. Erected in the decade from 1914 to 1924, designed for mainitining train engines, the 14 buildings currently on the property are each original and have been unused for about 40 years. The largest of the structures is about 100,000 sq ft, with 50 foot ceilings, a maze of steel girder, heavy lifting cranes, glass paned walls, wooden floor.
